After signing up, you must complete the initial setup before adding fuel, expenses, incidents, or other records.
Complete these steps in order:
- Configure Preferences
- Create Vendors
- Create Vehicles
Configure Preferences
Set your system preferences first.
This defines how your fleet data will be structured and reported.
Why this matters:
- Standardized data
- Accurate reports
- Proper categorization

Create Vendors
Vendors are required for fuel, service, insurance, and expense records.
Examples:
- Fuel stations
- Workshops
- Insurance providers
- Parts suppliers
Why vendors are required:
All operational records must be linked to a vendor for proper cost tracking and reporting.
Without a vendor, you cannot add fuel or expense entries.

Create Vehicles
Vehicles are the core of the system.
All records (fuel, incidents, expenses, services) must be assigned to a vehicle.
Without at least one vehicle:
- Records cannot be created
- Costs cannot be tracked
- Reports cannot be generated

Once these three steps are complete, you can start managing your fleet efficiently.
